The STEAM Chasers Phases of the Moon Journal provides an exciting introduction to our amazing night sky! For thirty-days you will track the phases of the moon, along with stars and constellations you might also find while viewing the moon. In addition to tracking the moon, you will also learn thirty interesting and fun facts about our beautiful natural satellite!

While the STEAM Chasers novels introduce middle grade readers to various aspects of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math, our journals provide the hands-on activities to get students actually “doing” science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

In an effort to address underrepresentation in S.T.E.A.M. fields, our journals will provide as few barriers as possible to completing exciting, educational, and accurate hands-on activities. For the Phases of the Moon Journal, the only tools required are the journal and a pen/pencil!

At Doresa Ayanna Publishing, we know it isn’t enough to show students the door, we also need to give them the combination to the lock and directions for how to open it. Our journals are an exciting first step in this mission.
